The meeting which was attended by the country’s senior officials and government representatives to discuss the achievement of BIMP-EAGA’s collaboration and the latest development between the participating countries.

The forum which focus on Trade and Investment to promote and develop sustainable energy resources and technologies within the BIMP-EAGA Sub Region. Sustainable energy or renewable energy development which is part of BIMP-EAGA Vision 2025; to develop more Biomass or Solar Power Plants with plans to supply power for its factories and housing area in the Philippines.

And on the same day, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Biomass DGF Power Plant Project/s was signed with 2 Electric Cooperatives and T.S. Renewable Energy Solutions Pte Ltd (foreign partner) under the witness of Department of Energy Undersecretary and BIMP-EAGA PEIC Chairman, Mr. Benito L. Ranque.
